The music of Wild Country is composed by five living Australian composers; Sarah
Hopkins, Peter Sculthorpe, Ross Edwards, Amanda Handel & Nigel Westlake. These composers
were originally trained in the European classical tradition but have been profoundly
influenced by the Australian landscape and the sounds of Australia’s indigenous culture.
The music of Wild Country is performed by chamber orchestra Camerata Ardesko with
a guest didgeridoo soloist. It has a distinctive Australian flavour, with heart warming
melodies, the sounds of Australian wildlife, toe-tapping rhythms and of course the
unique sound of the didgeridoo. If you click on the title of a piece in the menu
