The photography of Australian photographer Helen Daintree plays a unique role Wild Country being interwoven with the music in a way which enhances the overall emotional impact of the experience. From a body of about 6000 images, Helen Daintree and Melanie Waite carefully selected around 400 images which best convey the mood, story, and inspiration of each piece of music. These images where then transformed into a video whose pace reflects the changes in the music. In addition to the video projection which runs on a giant screen behind the orchestra, there is also a small photographic exhibition at Wild Country events.
A selection of images from the visual projection and exhibition can be found in the six photo galleries to the left. To keep some of the stories of the Wild Country experience a surprise, the images have been grouped by location and not by the piece of music they compliment.
